It’s about to getting to know someone, which we all do, but in a different sense. What I find so special about this song is that it goes deep. For me, that accounts for meaning behind the words. The songs we actually keep around and say “hey, I remember this song I love it it’s my favorite!” are the ones that we actually connect to. Sure, we listen to songs that get us moving but a month later we’re over them. On a tangent, for the guys reading this, most definitely give this song a listen and show it to the next lady you meet.Īs I’m sure is what goes for many of us, it’s not just the beat that makes a song great. After listening to the message and realizing it held true meaning and had a moving beat, he came around to love it. When I first showed this song to my boyfriend he told me it “sucked”.

It’s about seeing past someones exterior. It’s a touching, slow and empowering song. But I realized that it may not speak to everyone at first. The song “Beneath Your Beautiful” by Labrinth ( ) is to my satisfaction gaining popularity. So I figured instead of sharing music that I hope everyone will like, I want to share music that I actually enjoy the most, and if it’s not something people usually listen to, even better.

I like radio hits, I like indie, I like r&b, rap, country, dance, reggae etc. I was going to go with something neutral every week, but then I realized this isn’t necessarily what my taste in music consists of. So for this week I wanted something a little different.
